To bless the families of India and beyond, through evangelism, teaching, training, counselling, motivating and mobilising. To prevent and heal unhealthy families and to challenge and encourage families to live out their Biblical destiny.

We want to see this vision come to reality through:

6. Walk in counselling clinic
7. Preaching and teaching in churches
8. Creating support groups
9. Creating Nationwide movement and events like the National Marriage Week
10 Associating with government agencies and NGOs who work with families
11. Networking with pastors, local churches and mission agencies 
12. Programmes in Prisons, rehabilitation centres, orphanages and homes
13. Providing a family resource centre

Due to lack of long-term workers, we cannot reach our full potential yet. So, far we have had successfully ran three Family Ministries Schools, we would like to run this training program once every year. We ran a handful of Family seminars each year, mostly organised by churches. We also ran seminars among the youths preparing them for marriage and godly relationships. We offer pre-marital counselling and family therapy to individuals, couples and families. We ran Men's breakfast Fellowship and also provide resources to local churches.

God's heart for the families of India has been beating for ages. This great sub-continent of India, the second most populous nation in the world, has so much potential to transform the families, not only in India but also of the world. In 2000, God put in the hearts of Josiah and Claudia Ralte to start counselling ministries in Bangalore. Later when they did the Family Ministries School and the Family Therapy School in Kona, Hawaii in 2002, God specified and confirmed His calling for them to start Family Ministries in India. As the Raltes lack training experiences in Family Ministries, they went to Matamata New Zealand in 2004 to staff a couple of Family Ministries School and were mentored by Cecil and Denise Lowe, the Directors of Family ministries New Zealand then. The following year, on May 5, 2005 the first YWAM Family Ministries outreach and pioneering team set foot in the soil of Bangalore, India. A ministry as important as the family ministries surely did not lack opposition and attack from the enemy. Surely, from a land of millions of gods and goddesses opposition in the spiritual realm is expected. But through it all, God has been gracious and faithful in seeing His purpose fulfilled. In 2006, the first Family Ministries School in India was launched with the help of Cecil and Denise Lowe from New Zealand and Stephan and Eva Schmid from Switzerland. Family Ministries India has grown since then in terms of ministries and sending out the message God has for the families in India. Since the first school, two more Family Ministries School has been completed successfully in 2007 and 2009 respectively. We are looking forward to have many many more trainings in the years to come.

As stated in our vision statement and plans to fulfil the vision, we have so much to do and there are lots of open doors. But the workers are few! What we need is more long term workers, you could be the answer to our prayers.
Our plan is to start in the city of Bangalore and get established before we move out and reach the other states and cities of India. We also need continual financial support for ourselves and for ministry. Maybe you cannot go, but your money can go and work something great in this nation.
