Sasha & Alyona Yuhimchuk, students in the 2004 Kiev Family Ministry School, are pioneering Family Ministries in Western Ukraine with a focus on pre-marriage and young families. Their media project "Let`s talk about family" is on the year schedule for broadcasting of a new channel made by Christians promoting biblical family values. They are working on 52 family programs, full with people`s stories and biblical view on family. Here is their recent update:

“Let’s talk about family” is a video project to be launched in Ukraine in 2010.

The film starts with a story of a Christian family, Sasha and Tanya, who have 2 children, Nazar and Sofiya, ages 5 and 7. Sasha is a manager at a construction company and Tanya works at home doing written translations.

Their friends, Vova and Natasha want to be as loving and caring as Sasha and Tanya but nothing seems to be working for them. Our heroes face different challenges and difficult life situations but with the help from above they stay together and more than that – they still love each other and enjoy their marriage.

We will take you on a journey with Sasha and Tanya through most important components vital for a marriage relationship: love, trust, respect and understanding built on the only solid foundation - Jesus Christ - and we will help you see what the characteristics of a healthy family are.

The story is presented creatively - using some action, drama, dynamic scenes.

Each series then continues with a research of a topic related to that particular film that will include a interview with family counsellors in a talk-show style, statistics, comments of family specialists and the most important – real life stories and testimonies of different families about how God helped them to be successful in their family. 

OUR PLANS FOR 2010:

January - April: Full preparation of the whole scenario;
April - July: shooting;
July - December: more shooting, editing and full preparation for broadcasting.
