We ran three family camps for almost 90 families (with Protestant and Catholic participants), 30 of them came for first time. In spite of the fact that some participans were not even believers, they appreciated the time there as well as the spiritual teaching – one of them told at the end: „This camp has enriched my life as hardly anything till now!!!
This year we decided for first time to run family camps with different topics for different needs of families - it was more work but it worked very well - and families could choose the camp according to their desire to focus more on their family or their relationship with God and go deeper. First two camps were focused on the "looking for Gods kingdom in family", third one's topic was "hearing God's voice".
A lot of people and families made important decisions there, they have been encouraged to grow in their relationships to family members as well as to God, they have learned how to hear Gods voice, some reevaluated their faith, some experienced the Gods love and His concern for the first time in their life (sometimes also through the other people there)... And about a third from them would like to help us with next family camps in some way.
