Over 400,000 make commitments to Christ during Easter week

GMO (Global Media Outreach) had 4,127,491 visitors on their websites during four days of Easter week; 417,080 indicated the made decisions for Christ; and 63,595 received follow-up e-mails from online missionaries.

I personally responded to over 40 people during this initiative from Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Morocco, India, Nigeria, Namibia, Malawi, Myanmar, Trinidad, USA, Vietnam, Egypt, United Emirates, Kenya, Iraq, Algeria, Mozambique, Turkey, Philippines and India. Remarkably, 80% of these decisions were first time commitments to Christ. What an amazing opportunity to reach the nations with the Gospel.

YWAM has partnered with GMO to use the Internet as an effective way to disciple the nations in the 21st century. This is one of the most exciting projects I have been part of for a long time. Every day I am literally discipling the nations of the world from my office in Milton, Wisconsin USA. There are approximately 8,000 of these online requests coming every day from all over the world that are being processed by 6,000 online missionaries.

GMO has granted a special waiver to current and former YWAMers to streamline the training process for those wishing to become online missionaries with them. Here is how you can apply:

1. Go to www.ywamtribe.com and click on "Join Our Launch"
2. Fill in the necessary information and click the boxes that interest you such as "I want to be part of a missional community"
3. You will then be contacted by YWAM Tribe with instructions on what to do next.
4. The training involves listening to some short videos (takes about an hour or two at the most).
5. You then begin working with one online inquiry each day for four weeks, during which you receive additional training input.
6. At the end of your training you can join specialty communities that are of interest to you, such as: Abortion, Women and Jesus, Marriage and Family, Hindu, Islam, and various language groups such as German, Spanish, Arabic, etc...

Don't miss out on this remarkable and unique opportunity to disciple the nations. Join me and other YWAMers and become part of God's on-line missionary movement. Also, be sure to visit www.greatcommission2020.com and watch people coming to the Lord LIVE from all over the world.

Lower requirements for a UofN AA Degree

The UofN has lowered the number of credits required for an Associate of Arts Degree from 96 credits to 84 credits. This decision will make AA degrees more accessible to students globally and will open the door for greater multiplication of skilled workers. Many YWAM staff people will be pleased to find out they already have enough credits to qualify for an AA degree. Others will discover that they only need to complete one more course or take a seminar to fulfill these new requirements.

One of YWAM's African region directors and his wife recently contacted me after hearing of this change and were excited to learn they qualified for an AA degree in Family Ministries. For them, such a degree will open up new doors in their nation and give additional credibility to their ministry in the region.

The Associate of Arts Degree in Family Ministry was just approved for the new catalog and we are excited to offer this additional training program for YWAM Family Ministry workers globally. For those interested in pursuing this particular degree, I have included the section in the new UofN catalog that describes the new requirements.

If you have any questions or need assistance in pursuing an application for this degree please contact me lviballard@gmail.com
